Linda and Gordon welcome you to Highwoods Farm Bed and Breakfast, Bexhill-on-Sea. A charming, former Victorian Farmhouse set within the beautiful rolling countryside of East Sussex, just a short walk to the 85 acre Highwoods yet only 2 miles from the unspoilt Cooden Beach. The land adjoining the farmhouse is now a small livery, and the horses (and rabbits!) can be seen from the Highwoods bedroom window.
We are a family home with two good sized bedrooms, which are fresh and tastefully decorated offering a comfortable and relaxing stay, whilst exploring the wealth of attractions the area has to offer.
Guests have the exclusive use of our comfortable sitting room with woodburner and a sunny, well-designed garden with a terrace and sun room for relaxation. There is ample parking to the front of the house.
The two bedrooms are on the first floor offering: one principal bedroom with super kingsize/twin ensuite (Cooden) and one kingsize room with private bathroom and separate toilet (Highwoods). There is a space for a cot and a child’s bed (single futon) in either bedroom, which could be used as family accommodation at reduced rates.
Our generous Aga-cooked breakfast is locally sourced and homemade where possible. You could try our alternative cooked breakfasts for a change, or our delicious compotes and homemade muffins and scones. Complimentary tea and homemade cakes or scones will be served on arrival, or a cool drink in the summer, on the terrace.
